Yes, if it is for a reason not related to your workers’ compensation injury. Missouri is an employment-at-will state which means that an Employer can terminate you for any reason as long as it does not violate any federal or state discriminatory laws. In Missouri, there are also exceptions to the employment at will doctrine which include terminating a person for filing a workers’ compensation claim.
